چکیده
Background: The shell is a part of the tiger shrimp (Penaeus monodon) body that often becomes waste and has not been utilized properly, but it contains secondary antioxidants can prevent oxidative stress in form astaxanthin. Although several studies have examined function astaxanthin as an antioxidant, role shells against hepar mice induced by monosodium glutamate (MSG) well knownObjective: to determine effect extract graded doses on histopathological picture hepatic MSG.Methods: Extraction was carried out with palm head oil solvent analyzed Ultraviolet-Visible spectrophotometer (UV-Vis). This study used 25 male classified into 5 groups. One group negative control without any need 4 other groups were MSG 0.84 g/kgBB. Three MSG-induced at 50 mg/kgBB, 100 200 mg/kgBB. treatment given for 35 days. Mice terminated 42nd day histopathology observed Manja Roenigk score. Results: showed better histology structure compared only MSG. Statistical tests using Kruskal Wallis test significant difference between each P value 0.005.Conclusion: Feeding damage mice.

Penaeus monodon (tiger shrimp) hemocyanin: subunit composition and thermostability.
Penaeus monodon (class Crustacea, order Decapoda) is one of the largest shrimps of the Penaeidea family from the Indo-West Pacific region. The dioxygen-transporting protein hemocyanin, isolated from the hemolymph of this invertebrate, is composed of three 75-76 kDa structural/functional subunits designated as Pm1, Pm2 and Pm3. The N-terminal sequences of the chains were determined and compared ...

متن کاملStress-induced gene expression profiling in the black tiger shrimp Penaeus monodon.
Cultured shrimp are continuously exposed to variable environmental conditions that have been associated with stress and subsequent outbreaks of disease. To investigate the effect of environmental stress on Penaeus monodon gene expression, a 3,853 random cDNA microarray chip was generated with clones originating from six stress-enriched hemocyte libraries generated by suppression subtractive hyb...
متن کاملStrain Variations in Monodon Baculovirus (mbv) Infecting Penaeus Monodon (tiger Shrimp) in India
Viral diseases are the most serious problem in shrimp culture as they result in severe production and economic losses. Monodon baculovirus (MBV) is a member of nucleopolyhedrosis virus (NPV) group that infect penaeid shrimps. Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) assays have been reported for specific and accurate detection of MBV. As variations in the strains of MBV would greatly affect the detectio...
متن کاملMolecular cloning and expression analysis of MAT1 gene in black tiger shrimp (Penaeus monodon).
MAT1 (ménage à trois 1), an assembly factor and targeting subunit of the CDK-dependent kinase (CAK), can regulate the cell cycle, transcription, and DNA repair. This study was intended to investigate the role of MAT1 in the reproductive maturation of black tiger shrimp (Penaeus monodon). In this study, the P. monodon MAT1 (PmMAT1) gene was identified and characterized. The full-length cDNA of P...
